OUR FUNDAMENTAL MISSION
For today's busy consumers, it
is easier to dine-out and order-in than it is to prepare a home-cooked
meal. At HomeShop, we find this trend alarming because it is
costly from both a financial and
health standpoint. Our commitment is to provide consumers a
better option. Many are
making the effort to cook more at
home, however, inefficiencies associated with shopping for groceries is
slowing the trend. These inefficiencies include aisle
browsing, binge shopping, impulse spending, fuel waste and many
more. Our
mission is to improve
the lives of consumers by
reducing the inefficiencies associated with shopping for
groceries. As such, we have developed a
revolutionary shopping
system that makes consumers more efficient and promotes the virtues of
a home cooked meal.
Hermann
Hermann is a founder & the CEO (Chief Enthusiast) of HomeShop Technologies, Inc. His responsibilities include the overall management of the Company, including the setting and execution of HomeShop's business strategy. His primary duties include database management, middleware development and digital media output solutions. He is also the Company's primary point of contact for all financial matters and business development issues related to external media partnerships.
Hermann began his career as a systems engineer, designing database solutions for small and mid-sized businesses. His 15 year career also includes business development, financial analysis and strategic marketing at various companies. A recovering "foodie" and former waiter in New York City, Hermann has always had a passion for food. The concept for HomeShop Technologies was developed from a desire to promote the prospect of fine dining in the home for today’s busy consumers.
Hermann holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College. He also holds Masters degrees in finance and management from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University, where he was a winner of the Distinguished Dean’s Award. To contact Hermann, click here.
Maria
Maria Ogneva is a founder & the Chief Marketing Strategist of HomeShop Technologies. Inc. Her responsibilities include general marketing, subscriber acquisition and business development relating to brand management and advertiser development. In this role, she oversees the development, sales and execution of the Company's digital media solutions.
Maria is a seasoned marketing professional and a serial entrepreneur. Her knowledge base includes marketing analytics and advertising optimization as well as targeted marketing communications. Her experience includes marketing roles at PepsiCo and Hecht’s (a division of Macy’s). She is also an original founder of MeetMOJO, a provider of automated property management services.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and a Masters degree in Marketing & Strategy from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. To contact Maria, click here.
